Mountain Refuge Melissourgoi

Directions

Airport of Ioannina is one way to reach our wild paradise and then with car through villages, Lazaina-Kalentzi-Pramanta-Melissourgoi. The other way is the public bus with not a lot of fairs in to the mountain. There are the airports as well of Thessaloniki to Ioannina, or airport of athens to Arta and then Brige of Plaka.

• From Thessaloniki follow the Egnatia Street before Ioannina find the exit "Tzoumerka". From there follow bends and beautiful scenery. Continues: Kalentzi-bridge plate Agnanta-Ktistades-Pramanda-Melissourgi. 250 km Egnatia other 60 post. 
• From Athens is around 6 hours. Athens-Rio-Amfilochia-Arta-Pistiana-Rodavgi-Plaka bridge-Agnanta-Ktistades-Pramanta-Melissourgi. 
• To reach our shelter from Thessaly, follow the highway to Trikala, then provincial of Kalambaka and there Ioannina. Going from Kalambaka the provincial comes and finds Egnatia road height Metsovo. From there we follow the path to Ioannina and just get to see the city on your right there is a big exit sign "Tzoumerka-Katsikas". Coming out of the national  and about 500 meters there is a junction with signs to Tzoumerka turning left. The main villages along the road for Melissourgoi are: Kalentzi, Plate, Agnanta, Ktistades, Pramanta (village of Tzoumerka with updated market). From there they separate us 6.5 as the majestic Melissourgoi. Arriving at the entrance of the village there is a junction with the shelter signs on 1km to right.
